Wow! Level 5 is huge! I would love to try it, but Devmode is way to confusing for me.

It is big! :D well this is how you do it..

1. rightclick (on smb in steam) > Properties
2. set launch option > (type) -devmode
3. make a folder named "Levels" in the smb main folder
(C:/programfiles/steam/steamapps/common/smb/*here*)
then put the 5 files in my levelpack in this folder.
4. start the game from steam and click the Load button
(down left corner) and type "friction 01" or 02 and so on ;P

just if you wanted to know! ^^

Very good maps! Meat Boy

Overall, my favorite was probably Friction 04. I loved the feel of that map.

Likes: Good difficulty. It was hard, but not frustrating.
Interesting jumps! I had a lot of fun doing them.
Decoration was fantastic. I need to learn how to make my levels look that well.

Dislikes: Background saws. Interesting gimmick, but if I was an average player, I wouldn't know what to do. Try and teach players which saws are which before throwing them at the player.
Bandage on 04. It felt way too difficult. Maybe I'm terrible at the jumps, but I gave up on getting that. I'd take out the 4th saw to make it more fair.

I'll be watching this. This is fantastic!

really like the look of these, but i agree about the saws in the BG.
if you plan on keeping them there, tint the BG a bit more drastically so it really doesn't look like you could hit them.

Try going through this section without using the D-Pad at all. You can easily clear this section by only using the jump button. I managed to get that bandage on my first try (and then proceeded to die by jumping off the top of the screen )

Concerning the maps... I'm definitely echoing the background saw comment, these are too distracting and sometimes ruin the flow of the maps, since you have to stop in order to figure out what you need to do. Thus, I found that Level 3 was not on par with the other levels in the set.

The rest is fantastic, though. Friction 5 was my favorite so far, as I'm a fan of longer "The End" styled levels. Really-good looking maps, it's challenging enough and definitely fun to play. Good work!
