I was wondering about it, and it seems some people like them. So... who knows?
If you don't have any idea what I'm talking about, it's just japansese comics / shows. In Japan there is a lot of these things and they are some manga/anime very good. If you can, you should watch Kaiba or Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan. 12 & 26 episodes, nothing about 500 episodes.
What's your thoughts?

I LOVE anime and manga. That's why I call myself an Otaku sometimes. If you ever need an idea for something to watch, just ask me. I got a list of REALLY good, non-mainstream, anime.

I don't really like animes, I prefer manga books.
But I only read mangas that don't go over 5 books. (Not like Naruto or Dragonball which got so many :D)

I watch anime, I also read a manga here and there but I prefer to read actual books and not pdf files, and books are hard to find here so only if I get my hands on one.

I'm not a fan of Anime/Manga, but I fucking LOVE Hayao Miyazkai. His movies are all basically my favorites of all time. I tried to watch the other Ghibli movies and was not impressed at all. Only like three or four of them were even bearable to watch.

I watch Bleach religiously. That's about the only anime I have ever paid much attention to. www.anilinkz.com < Has pretty much everything. Pretty decent quality. It's also pretty easy to find almost any anime series with a lil searching and a bit of uTorrent. Haven't ever read any of the manga's. Tho I here they are better than their anime counterparts. And yes... I do scream BANKAI during sex.

I have an interest in anime/manga, but not to the extent the so called "otaku", or in North America, "weeaboos" do.
For manga, I read Naruto (stopped watching the anime after it diverged from the manga with filler), Claymore, Kimi no Iru Machi, Broken Blade, Freezing, and Sketchbook on a weekly/monthly basis (depends on release schedule).
As for anime, I pick a few up each season that pique my interest. Unfortunately, most anime is moe-blob crap like K-On with no real substance nowadays. This season I'm watching Fractale, Freezing (only because I read the anime), Infinite Stratos, Kore wa Zombie desu ka, Star Driver, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Even most of those are not that great, but they are time-fillers nonetheless.

The trouble with claiming to like Anime is that Anime isn't really a genre, but rather an art style. True, there are a few reoccurring aspects that find their way into Anime due to the Japanese ways of storytelling, but the reality is all of it is vastly different. I was always amazed at the Anime nerds (they were also my friends) at my school who poured thousands and thousands of hours into watching any and every Anime they could get their hands on. I feel like claiming to like Anime is like claiming to like black and white films. You may like the visual style, but on a movie to movie bases I feel like its very likely to deviate.
I may be wrong since the entirety of my Anime experience is Pokemon (little me says fuck yeah), Digimon (wasn't a fan) and Mega Man (this shit was off the hook) all when I was little and then when I grew up Miyazaki (All of which are orgasmic) and Ghibli (meh). Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Also I'm open to suggestions, but I only want the best.
