SPIRITED AWAY!!!!!!!!

Watched. I love it, I feel like I'm a child again, inocent and no idea what will happen.

PRINCESS MONONKE!!!!!!!

I should watch it again, because I dont like it, from what I can remember.

NAUSICAA OF THE VALLEY OF THE WIND!!!!!

Ok, I'll do it.

LAPUTA: CASTLE IN THE SKY!!!!!

I should watch it. Also...*

the basic theme here is watch every movie ever made by Hayao Miyazaki.

I'm 100% ok with this, I had it on my mind since some years ago. The last movie I watch was Ponyo, and it was good too.

LAPUTA: CASTLE IN THE SKY!!!!!

*My eyes are dying. I mean, on Spanish this means... well, how would you feel if the name were "THEWHORE"? Not kidding. That made me feels a little bad

Its pronounce Lap-Utah, but that's still quite funny

Laputa is my 2nd favorite Miyazaki movie, but the ones I listed before are a tiny bit more mature.  Laputa isn't Ponyo young, but it's a movie that can be enjoyed by all ages.  Its quite the rip snorting good adventure

Miyazaki might be my only exception to my several month old 'NO MORE ANIME YOU STUPID FAGGOT' rule.

You had me scared there.  You have good taste in Anime.  My trouble is after loving his films so much I tried to branch out.  I quickly realized that the world of Anime is a dark dark place and Miyazaki is the only beacon of light

Why'd you have to make a valid point? I enjoy nemesis kicking you into dark pits.

Princess mononoke is really good, everything in it is cool but the deer gods face, Bloody hell, Its so ugly.
The flying castle ( or somthing dont rember ) is fun but i didnt understand any thing because i saw it and it had so much grammer mistakes in the sub-titles
Ponyo, totaly sucks

Hi. At the risk of being ridiculed by apparently bigger Anime fans than I, I'll offer a few suggestions. Keep in mind however, no matter how large my collection may be, I haven't added to it in nearly a decade, so it's a little dated. Crack is less expensive, and I understand now why so many kids buy drugs instead. I browsed previous posts, and between all of the Miyazaki films and other series with Japanese names I probably couldn't pronounce, I didn't see anyone mention Cowboy Bebop. Maybe because it's been on Adult Swim periodically. Not sure. I only have basic cable. Regardless, It's effin' awesome. Some of the best that Anime has had to offer, ever. And the english dub is arguably better than the original voice work, so you can enjoy the show equally well without all of the reading if that's your thing, not to mention the epic soundtrack by Yoko Kanno. Without going in-depth, here are some more staples, in my opinion, of the genre: Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Macross Plus, Ninja Scroll, Gunsmith Cats, The Venus Wars, Spriggan, Desert Punk. These suggestions are by no means all-encompassing, but should merely suffice as being immediately enjoyable. Hope that helped. Peace.

Don't want to troll, but I'll always be a fucking Haruhiist.
I've heard about Cowboy Bebop but never watched it, I might after finishing Baccano, which is actually really good by the way, it's like some crazy shit with multiple timelines about immortality and vampires, but with a lot of fun.
