I disagree, comparing noobs to the inhabitants of SPUF (Particularly those who inhabit the Team Fortress 2 section) is to insult them.

SPUFTF2 is full of whiny bitches who will complain that an update is taking too long and boycott TF2 until it's out, then once it's out they complain the update is shit and Valve should of taken longer.

SPUFTF2 are ungrateful brats who unfortunately due to TF2 believe Valve are only there to serve them personally.

Here's an idea for what threads are like on SPUFTF2

80% Hat related
12% Blog posts
5% Trade Threads not in the trading subforums
3% actually about the game, and not about hats

And i agree, they ARE whiny brats. I still post there, but mostly to answer questions, and to tell people that something's old before the cOLD idiots get in the thread.

Nowadays, i'm in the offtopic, or other forums there.

Personally? I think TF2 is fine. Almost. The only thing that needs retooling is the FaN, Sandman, and the shortstop. Rest is fine. I dont give a flying fork on a tricycle about hats. I still collect them, but mostly what i craft, or what i find. I trade if it appeals to me.

I'm one of the few TF2 users who realized that Hats can be ignored except for the 5 polycount hats (this number is on the rise, i think). And that You can ignore trade spammers, or go to a better server. With admins who can mute/gag trade spammers.

I liked this post. On the topic of the set hats, the latest sets did not require the hats in order to get the bonus, so I think they've decided the experiment a failure and are moving on.

Meh, I might play TF2 again, if I ever get the chance to update it. The internet has sucked lately so my dad rages at me whenever I download anything. (And I've been dling other games so I haven't updated it since christmas, when I sold my whole inventory.)

All Ghastly Gibuses are cheap as dirt and common as shit. Not a single incarnation of it is even remotely rare at the moment. Even Alien Swarm Parasites are probably more valuable, but then again I don't give a shit about whatever forced values SPUF imposes on items.

This morning I was browsing 4cahn and then I saw a TF2 post about a faggot that buy some items for 2200$. I think that it was an Unusual kabuto and X hats.

But the real... "horror" was its message:

"I got that item not just because that's my dream hat, and not because I wanted to make a cool present to my girlfriend - Becoming a part of TF2 Trading history, epicness and glory, being a part of TF2 most-expensive-item-deal - those were my goals^^ Proving that a no-name trader can get a 2000$ worth rare item within 2 months of work, without money involved.
