When Naija dies on a sawblade or whatnot, it should wash whatever blood/meat liquid was on it before.

Except when you change characters, your current character's fluids are removed. The only blood you'll get is from small animals that run into the saws, which are not exactly common.

I'm pretty sure the bloody saws remain bloody when you switch.

Edit:  Yup, they do.  Only the blood trail disappears.

I think they should just change the blood effect colour depending on what character you use. E.g. Red for Meat boy/Kid/Jill
Yellow for Headcrab/Runman
Black for Gooball
Light blue for Naija (or cleans it)
Rainbows for Commander Video/Flywrench

Yellow for Runman, seriously? One of the reasons I don't use Headcrab much is because he looks disgusting in all possible ways. Runman on the other hand is happy happy joy joy and doesn't need a bloody trail. Lol, puns.
But I like OP's idea, looks like a neat little addition.

While I disagree that all characters should have blood, I do think the ones that have blood should leave it behind on blades (and maybe the splatter too).  It always bothered me that only regular Meat Boy leaves blood on the saw blades.  I would approve of black goo being added for Booball though.  No need to add more blood to the game though.

Whoops sorry, what I meant in my last post was that only saw blades would change their blood splatter colour. It would look stupid if they all left blood trails behind. Sorry about that.
