I dunno, the missile idea would be pretty bland, millions of games have bosses where their own projectiles hit them. To me, the bosses were just little variations from the main gameplay, i enjoy them, but i can understand why they dont have dark world counterparts.

Though i do admit, zombie bosses would be pretty cool.

Also, what if the level editor had brownie mode, where you would create a level, then complete it as fast as you could to set a "ghost", and have that be brownie? I know it will never happen, but i thought it's a neat idea.
thats a very good idea, like the ghosts in mario kart, but for platforming. and they could be shared with others through the internet, which could possibly help others train on certain levels for the par times. its brilliant! one  for you!

Hey, thats a good idea as well! i was just thinking of it as a way to make more brownie levels, but the "Mario Kart" thing also sounds pretty awesome as well.  get.

Now that we have Super Meat World, just make it possible to use bosses in Stage Editor.
I guarantee you harder versions of boss levels will be out within the month.
Sadly, CHAD is the only boss I have had trouble with (I can't justify that). Brownie is just a running level and he can pretty much be entirely ignored, (unless you somehow die if he beats you in the race?), Little Horn is just memorization, and I fought Larries legitimately. I still have to fight Dr. Fetus, though.

Ideally, there would be a Lil' Slugger with a simply harder horizontal course and perhaps a need to jump on Dr. Fetus at points, a CHAD level with some sawblades to evade and droplets of meat being splashed up, a Brownie you can bump into and actually jump off of, a Little Horn who attacks more randomly/specifically at you, but gives cues so you can still dodge, and Larries who can team attack.

I still say we need Lil' Slugger shooting missiles while chasing you through Kid Zone 1 while Larry throws maggots at you and is like lololol u mad boy?

Larry would ram into the spikes from one jump and the walls would block Slugger's missles. Also, neither would have anywhere to stand.
So it'd be Kid World 1.
Now CHAD in Kid world 1 would be mean.

Little Horn in the background of Kid World 1. Dodge his attacks or die.

Alright, I figured out how to make a signature! Aren't you all proud of me?
You aren't? That's not very nice!
Hmmph. You're all just jealous, because my signature is so cool! Yeah. Jealous.

Or, better yet, what about C.H.A.D in Kid 2? Watch out for the advancing wall of blood as you zoom through the spike shafts!

HORIZONTAL C.H.A.D.! Where is your Golden God now!?

Man, now I really want to see bosses in level editor. You could probably totally reimagine their fight scenes with some creativity. Brownie could be programmed to initially copy the creator's Meat Boy run, and if the challenger is doing better, after 3-5 attempts, Brownie would start copying them.

This is unlikely, but if you would know where the replays are saved, you could replace Brownie's and play against your best time.

How bout that: Try to drink huge amounts of cherry whiskey without dying.
And every time you die, you play a SMB-Level.

What would be the best way to Dark World bosses, anyway?
Slugger would clearly be best with a missle or sawblade launcher (or both) so you have to keep a good distance from the back of the screen and try not to pin yourself. Longer and tougher level, too.

C.H.A.D. could bounce off of walls, so no segment of map is totally safe, only a few tricky corners you can slip into to show off/desparation save.

Brownie would just need an altered level and a better performance. Or give him a fart-propelled Naija dash for the... [`;)]sh!ts and giggles.

Lil' Horn just needs to hold his attacks for longer, so there's a visible cue, but randomize his patten, so you have to pay attention.

Larries just need to have some kind of team attack, like having one jump straight up, then the other jumping in a regular arc, but bouncing off of the other airborne one to reverse direction (and shoot more maggots).
