Before I contribute, I want to be clear on the purpose of the list. Are you compiling just who is objectively the very fastest per level?

If so, I can help. But I may say things people don't want to hear, and I don't want to get involved if the list becomes a character popularity contest, and there ends up being 3 characters next to every level.

Thanks! Well not fastest per level, simply just the fastest, but I'll state who it was completed with. Let's say Runman on level 1-3 completes the level in 1.10 seconds, but Flywrench completes it in 1.00 seconds, I consider Flywrench faster for that chapter and I'll put Flywrench next to 1-3. I'm considering just putting the fastest time completed on the level, plain and simple, if new methods arise I'll update the guide, what do you guys think? May I ask, what type of things would you say that people wouldn't want to hear?

Like on 5-7 : Runman can get 12, Naija can get 11 : no other character can come close to those.

There's a level with Ogmo up there, I'd take him off - he's not the fastest anywhere at all. I think we need to compile the pool of data first (within reason) - THEN clean up and tweak everything.

Fixed! I guess you're right, but as EmmaWatsonsBF stated we don't want a character competition. As of now, I just want to get this guide as complete as possible. Any ideas on how multiple people could edit the forum post?

True, all we need is proof then there wont be anyone playing favorites and no one will be able to disagree with anything here, unless they can beat/prove it, which is why I wanted to start the post in the first place. I think Naija is best for 1-11x.

I am almost positive you can skip the second corner with Meat Boy in addition, and get a comparable time. When I ran that level with Meat Ninja on Xbox, I would some times accidentally slip by the saw blade without teleporting. I have yet to recreate it on purpose with Meat Boy, though, so Viridian is fine for the list.

Edit: Actually, the Meat Boy way would be 2 seconds faster. It would be really hard if possible.

Throwing out some levels I've played lately off the top of my head:

2-7X is Naija

For Hell you can pretty much slap Naija on everything. 4-14X is Runman, 4-19 and 4-19X are stupid levels where you wait for a platform to descend and do one drop so I have no idea what's best there. Can't recall any other exceptions right now. And how is that video proof for Viridian on 4-3 and 4-3X? That's not even close to Naija's times.

edit - oh yeah, 4-12 and 4-12X are Meat Boy I think? Might be something else I'm forgetting.

5-5X is Naija
5-6 is Naija, see Zed's video
5-7 is Naija, IIRC Runman makes it to the last saws one cycle later, losing by a second or so, not 100% sure on this one
5-7X is Naija
5-9 is Runman

At the moment I've only uploaded a compilation video of my Hell runs, but I think like one or two of those times are actually the best ones anymore. I was planning to do a Rapture compilation and a chapters 1-3 compilation when I've worked on some more levels.

Yes, Naija is definitely way better. I have 0.83 with her, u just need to dash as fast as u can when u spawn.

I've got some top times up to world 4, so i will partecipate in this too if you want.
