I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say.  I'm going to have to do it.  I apologize in advance.  Okay, here it comes....

And? Yes, it's taken 4 months (if you got the XBLA version) or 5 months (if you got it on Steam), but so what? I started playing Metal Gear Solid a decade ago and i've still never beaten it!
It also depends on how many deaths you have. If you have about 5k-6k deaths then thats not too bad. 1st time I beat SMB, I had over 10000 deaths.
Another factor is how much have you been playing it since it came out, and how smoothly it runs (if it's the Steam version).
Anyways, people say you create awesome levels so what's there to complain about?

I was a disappointment until I unlocked Golden God, Accidental Arsonist, and Retro Rampage all at once.
Felt so good.

It's forgivable if you had a glitched Dr Fetus like me.

It's not a bad thing, it's nice to see that SMB is one of the few games that actually lets you develop some gamer skill. I'm glad you got your goal eventually.
My goal was the End, then the Kid, then Dr. Fetus Dark World, and then all levels. I got all those.  I need a few more bandages for Steve but I like speedrunning better than trying to get those, so meh. Steve can wait.

I unlocked The Kid before I beat the game, so the Dr. Fetus stage was a bit of a let down.  Dark World version made up for it though.

Not to brag, or to make you feel worse, but I A+'ed and 100%'d it over the space of 4 evenings after it came out.

Just takes some people longer than others. I'm sure there's plenty of other games you'd breeze through that many others who ran though this would find impossible.

Jesus Christ man, you're an animal.  It took me up until today to 100% it and I played the 360 version too!
