Hi folks!
I have been considering buying a gamepad to reach perfection on all levels, but I'm not sure on which to grab? I know you can use Xbox 360 controller but IS it all the money worth?

It really depends, to be honest. If you are really good with the XBox controller, I would recommend grabbing a wired controller but if it's not your forte I would recommend a controller using Joy-to-Key. I use the keyboard myself.

Xbox360 is best by a long shot.  I've played with generic, 360, and keyboard.  In my opinion if you aren't using the xbox analogue stick you're better off with the keyboard.

Yeah, I was with this too, I got the Xbox 360 controller, Its really fun to use because its a controller but what way of control you have, it dosent really change anything exept the fun.
I'd say yes, Go for the Xbox 360 controller, You can use it for almost every game later on.

I use my logitech f310
works great cause the layout on it is more like a ps3 controller with the d-pad on top and the d-pad feels like an old sega genesis one

Wired is fine. You can get a 3rd party one for 20$ too.

i tried it with a saturn pad, a 360 standard pad and a 360 fightpad. best for me is the fightpad, worst the 360 standard pad, because i like to play plattformers with a digipad and the one on the standard pad sucks...

Anything except a PS2 controller.

Seriously, this shit sucks. The sprint key is the triangle button and the jump is the O button, and the buttons are arranged with Triangle at the top, O at the right, Square at the left, and X at the bottom.

So you need to hold down Triangle AND circle with your thumb if you want to jump and.... bleh.
