I had this awesome idea:

A forum game where people post what characters they want in SMB and what their powers would be!

Pictures are nice too.

Basically, imagine that this game is 10x bigger than it is now. That's 1000 bandages and a shit-ton of levels. Now, you need to decide what characters will be added on to the game after the originals. It can be any number between 1 and twenty five thousand, two hundred and sixty nine.

For starters:

Neo (The Matrix): 1000 bandages:
Pros: Rulebreaker
Cons: Not Morpheus
Description: Flies, punches through walls, dodges sawblades, and walks up walls.

Mario (Super Mario): 125 bandages:
Pros: Jumpy
Cons: Bad breath
Description: Can jump higher, and special ability is to breath a fireball that destroys sawblade launchers / enemies. Normal speed is slightly slower than sprint speed, cannot sprint.

Diamond Dan (Diamond Dan): 150 Bandages:
Pros: Pushy
Cons: Wannabe
Description: Pushes blocks, average move / jump speed

Faith (Mirror's Edge) : 500 Bandages:
Pros: Flashy Runner
Cons: Not Blonde
Description: Faith from mirror's edge. Agile and jumpy. However, her downside is that she can't take a very large fall. For levels without massive jumps, she's a straight upgrade to Meat Boy.

Scout (TF2): 175 Bandages:
Pros: Bonk!
Cons: Twitchy
Description: Faster than meat boy's sprint, has double jump. Special power makes him drink BONK, which makes him invincible for a few seconds but very fast, although afterwards he is damn slow for a few seconds. He is also a bit harder to control, and if he falls too far down he can die. Double jump can slow his fall by a bit, but still dangerous.

Level 100 Magikarp (Pokemon): 1 Bandage:
Pros: Super Jumpy
Cons: Slug
Description: has an insane jump, but moves really slow, even with sprint.

DarkWing Duck (Darkwing Duck): 200 Bandages
Pros: The Terror that Flaps in the night!
Cons: Talks to himself!
Description: DarkWing Duck is a bit like Jill in being able to flap, but is also given an advanced jump.

Kid Icarus (Kid Icarus Angel Land Story): 700 Bandages
Pros: Wings for ultimate jumping!
Cons: No arrows!
Description: Kid Icarus' wings let him jump up to five times in a row. However, the jumps after the first aren't as large and are mostly good for control or as a last resort. He's also a bit slow.

Sonic (Sonic Series): 300 Bandages
Pros: Not too slow!
Cons: Uncontrollable
Description: EXTREMELY fast, but hard to control.

Wario (Wario Games): 400 Bandages
Pros: Charge-y.
Cons: Greedy
Description: A tad slow, but has a large jump and can charge, which makes him go forward in a straight line for about a few seconds at thrice Meat Boy's sprint speed, during this charge, he is invincible.

Shantae (Shantae): 310 Bandages:
Pros: Transformer!
Cons: Can't transform into a Monster Truck
Description: Can transform into various forms, up key + shift is a bird form which grants her slow speeds but lets her fly, up + left or right is a monkey, who has better speed but is not as good a jumper, down is normal.

Creeper (MineCraft): 350 Bandages:
Pros: SSSSSSSSSSS
Cons: Boom!
Description: Can cause an explosion in midair or wherever with shift key. Not as fast as meat boy. Explosion propels him forward but leaves fire near where the explosion took place, meaning you have one shot with it.

Danny Phantom (Danny Phantom): 300 Bandages:
Pros: Ghost Powers!
Cons: Lame
Description: Can phase for a limited amount of time (no damage) and can fly for limited amounts of time. Not as fast and rocket launchers and maw portals seem to be able to track him a bit better.

Insani (Forum): 800 Bandages
Pros: Insane!
Cons: Twisted Mind
Description: The Best person in the galaxy, Insani can run faster, is easier to control, and can double jump. The downside is that all his enemies seem a bit more dangerous.

I would go with flat or something like that.  Not like there's anything wrong with small boobs if match the owner's body type, but this is the internet and gamers are stereotypically horny as shit.

That's my point though.  Get rid of the silly face tattoos and she's a perfectly respectable catch by real life standards, but in the world of videogames she sucks or whatever since she doesn't have boobs the size of the rest of her body that slosh around more than water.  I hate the portrayal of females in current gaming (though I almost feel its getting better maybe?)  I liked it better when Jill was a moderately attractive brunette, and when Samus was super buff

Pros: Creative
Cons: Bomb Survials

Sackboy is functionally identical to Steve except for faster movement and a shorter jump.


Winona (Pokemon): 600 Bandages:

Pros: Graceful!
Cons: Tentacruels.

Winona is about as fast as Naija, a little slower maybe, but gets massive air (Twice the jump of Meat Boy's, maybe higher when she jumps. I only thought this up because the creepy fan in me said to.

Mr. Foster (Killing Floor): 1000 Bandages:

Pros: Loadsamoney
Cons: Needs drugs.

Mr. Foster moves slower and does not jump as high as meat boy, but is not affected by Dust Bunnies, Blood Clots/Roaming Maggots, Missiles, Fireballs, Eye Lasers, Demon Maws, Bullets and Tracking Saw Throwers.

The Spy (Team Fortress 2): 750 Bandages:

Pros: Cloak!
Cons: Dagger.

The Spy has access to the Dead Ringer. The Spy, upon contact with a hazard, activates the Dead Ringer making the Spy invincible for a grace period of 3-4 seconds, but is only usable once per life.

Description: 8Bit awesome guy who has a long jump and is fast. If the jump button is not held down, his jump can cancel in midair. However, his sprint and normal are a bit slower than meat boy's.

DarkWing Duck (Darkwing Duck): 200 Bandages
Pros: The Terror that Flaps in the night!
Cons: Talks to himself!
Description: DarkWing Duck is a bit like Jill in being able to flap, but is also given an advanced jump.

That's the Dead Ringer's special property.   You could also use a variant of my idea, read here:

Instead of that idea, the spy can cloak using the Shift key. While cloaking, the spy is no longer detected by Demon Maws, Missiles, Tracking Saw Throwers, Eye Lasers and Zombie Boys. The Spy is not invincible, however, and will still die on contact with any hazard. However, while cloaked, the Spy is also not able to pick up keys and hit buttons. The Spy also cannot rescuse Bandage Girl while cloaking. The cloaking device lasts for 3-6 seconds or until the user hits Shift again, at which point it deactivates.

Pros: Has a sword for deflecting projectiles (press run at the last second), drives the Laytonmobile while running
