Or maybe you should turn off the sticky keys shortcut and map your action/special button to a more comfortable key. You can turn it off? HOW!? http://lmgtfy.com/?q=sticky+keys

I got him a while back. I thought level 1 was the hardest by far. Levels 2 and 3 were about equally simple, with 3 being a little hard to pull off because by the time I got there I was sick of his levels (and spacebar lag durrr) but I finished it a little faster since... it's just an altogether fast level.
Level 1: practice dem jumps. I fooled around in this one a little each day for a while before I sat down to beat it once and for all. I unlocked it first thing I did going into rapture, but completed it after unlocking The End (and I always challenge bosses after doing both light and dark worlds). My advice: keep your cool and run off the edge instead of jumping at first, I found it a lot easier (and honestly 90% of my deaths were at that obnoxious first drop, it got easier from there since you can get into a rhythm).
Level 2: this one makes people rage for some reason, but it's not too bad. Getting down the first shaft is really simple. I timed my movements into a three-count, so I moved left/right like this: 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3... But instead of counting it by three, I only said 1 and 2. Therefore, it's: 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2...
That's because the first shaft up is on a 2-count, so using the same rhythm I move 1, 2, 1, 2. By doing this I could get up the second shaft pretty consistently. The biggest problem is getting too excited and losing the beat.
Level 3: You're almost there, just stop being on the floor. I suggest making as high a (single) jump as you can and use the double jump just before you'd get hit. It's more reliable than just jumping to the safe spots on the ceiling since you won't be jumping prematurely.
Hope that helps anyone.

Got him a while back, took probably 50minutes when I sat down for it and random amount of time on level 1 prior to that.

played the first stage, after that I quit for about 1 hour leaving my game on. Then tried the second stage. Got that with just a few tries, wasn't to hard. Then I took another break of 2 hours and got the third one done aswell, which I found the hardest out of all. The first one took me the longest I think though.

I've played through the Kid's warp for three times now. I played it first time on 360 and it took me about 5 hours to complete in two different sessions. I spent most of the time on the second stage (for about 2,5 hours). I had huge problems getting through those smaller gaps on the elevator rides. The second time I played on PC and it took me about 45 minutes. I spent around 25 minutes on the second stage. The third time was yesterday. I lost my original PC saves so I had to re-run the warp. This time it took me "only" about 20 minutes (from which about 10 minutes on the seconds stage). Progress has obviously happened and I'm satisfied. I'm slowly getting somewhere.

I just beat the Kid's warp zone for the second time (first was PC version, second XBLA), and I'm proud to say it only took me 35 minutes.

Thank god these stages don't have 3 Lives Limits xD That would be a rage-quit inferno xD
this! is so true!! otherwise i'd still not have him! took me about 4 hours to get (around 3 for the first stage alone) also, i had to walk my dig in between! it was definitely the biggest "achievment" for myself. never felt like ragequitting, though. it's not an option

Got him on the Xbox version in a little less than an hour's time. Such a satisfying unlock if you can bear the frustration.
Still working on getting him in the PC version, since using the keyboard for that is especially difficult. (I do not possess the ability to use a controller for PC at this time by the way)

YES. The only level that I found difficult was the second, but boy, was it difficult.
I must have taken 1 - 1:30h.
