You'll be seeing it in my blog. However, I believe that this specific user brought it upon himself by posting this thread. I have the right to say that his Let's Play is under par, and say why I don't like it. That's called an opinion. Also, I have a very strong opinion against the lack of quality of which jumps onto Youtube, much like how I hate garbage being dumped onto the radio.
Oooo a blog eh? I'll be sure to read it ^_^ What does the blog entail? Ripping into people's works you feel dont meat (haha meat boy... meat... get it? XD) your standards? :P
You do indeed have the right to post your opinion - however, your opinion has been posted before, and has been noted. However, because of the jack-ass'ish way you've come across (amongst other reasons ofc
), I've chosen to accept your opinion (as you know, an opinion is one's subjective view on the world), yet not take it into any consideration.
As for the comment about the quality of things on youtube. The site is open to the public - one can upload what they will. Youtube tries to reward those that produce quality and get lots of views, which is good and helps to generate some good content.
But let me ask you.... if you see a 3 hour movie you've gotten for free, and know you won't enjoy it 20 minutes into the feature... do you continue watching?
Based on the way you express yourself though, you do seem like a person who'd go online and complain about it afterwards all the same
Either way, I'm sorry if I'm coming off as a dick, but I think that Schmole should work on trying to improve his videos rather than accept his crappiness. There's many ways (without money) to increase video quality. It's called "time and patience". This is something of which some Youtube users use in order to try and make quality videos. More often than not they succeed.
I don't mind you coming off as a dick (you're doing a real good job, keep it up!
), but i'm not accepting crappiness... I'm accepting the work I've been recording, and have very much enjoyed the process in which it was created, and seeing the people enjoy it as well ^_^
Am I as great as Hamster? By no means - he's a really interesting person (and that other dude you mentioned is quite probably the same). But I'm quite happy the way I am, as I get no benefit out of this other than my own personal satisfaction, and potentially giving someone else something enjoyable ^_^
Time and patience? When you work 8:30 to 7 weekdays, that time disappears. But that aside, I'm not using time as an argument here - this game is fun to me, so I play it
I find it rather silly that Schmole is defending his lack of action to improve his videos.
