I think that the problem with the keyboard is that it need more time to be used to.

I mean. To change the Meat Boy direction, you can:

a. Use Gamepad and move the finger a little
b. Use Keyboard and press a button after stop pressing the other direction button.

Also, it could be more confortable con Gamepad.

But well, I don't care what you use. If you manage a keyboard, I will say "Hey, extra points to you to manage the hard way!". But, who cares? You can play SMB with both Meat Boy

Don't give people extra credit coz they use the keyboard :P

I use the keyboard, it comes so naturally to play platformers on it that I just couldnt imagine playing with a controller.

Personally, I believe that it's more a matter of arrow keys vs. thumbstick than it is about the buttons.

Sticking to the poll, I vote buttons. Thumbsticks ftw.

Super Meat Boy is very non-analog, and I prefer binary arrow keys for handling non-analog controls. It's easier for me to be accurate.

That said, it seems like a NES controller would be the perfect non-analog controller for Super Meat Boy. Since I don't have one for my computer, I use the keyboard.
