It is safe. I am 100% positive. You can even switch into the same character to prevent death if you're into that kind of thing.

As for that video you have there, your anger would of only barely captured my rage after failing one of my runs. :P I recorded these 'rage moments' before just for a goof, I decided to make some kind of minimovie after getting achievement, and here it is :P And about real rage - I basically knew that this achievement is impossible, so I didn't rage much after fail attempt, just little 'fuck' or something, and here we go again :P And I was gonna do the same to get a screencap of the pop-up from switching to windowed mode, but I got too scared from something stupid like the game crashing that I didn't try. That's why I opened Fraps before running the game, and made random footage capture just to check if it works. I just wanted to have steam popup this time Guys, does switching characters count as a death? I want to use runman but some points in the forest are a bit difficult with him... There should be some sticky FAQ-thread about rules of getting no death achievements. So: 1) you don't have to do levels in 1 - 20 order 2) you can die at first level as many times as you want (and if you pass it you must pass the rest with no deaths ofkz) 3) if chapter allows you - you can change characters during run (excluding meat ninja and steve) 4) and here's the best (or worst) thing - if you're about to die, you can press Esc, go back to map and try the level again

I was already like 8 achievements in before I discovered this. I was a little peeved. I still try to do it as little as possible though. I kinda feel like I'm cheating myself.

Edit: Wow, the latest Steam update allows for screenshots. Wouldn't that have been useful four days ago. Not unless you downloaded the latest Steam beta client! Check my profile for proof, my screenshots are before the update went live. I don't really know much about my Squirrel Boy run just yet, but I will definitely use Ogmo on at least one point during it. In the earlier stages, who needs The Kid anyway?

Rapture light world is really easy to complete with naija with one or two exceptions (Flood for example).
I'm surprised no one has done a "Maggot boy [the easy way]"-video about it, after all there is one for captain viridian and hell.

All I got is wood boy... gonna try squirrel boy and chapter two light world (forgot the name of the achievement). I died 6 times when doing the wood boy achievement (ussaually at 17-20, so on my 4th time at dieing after getting to 20 ( ), I remebered you didn't have to do the in order, so did 15-20 first)

Needle Boy and Salt Boy were both pretty easy, but the 2 easiest by far are Wood Boy and Dead Boy (The End). I'll probably go for Brimstone Boy and Blood Clot Boy at some point, but that's where I'll end my Iron Boy Runs.

I realised I never posted, I have Wood Boy and Needle Boy, and I'll get more when I'll have my new PC.

My legend: = Got it. = I'll try it soon, after doing some other stuff. = I'm not trying it anytime soon. = I haven't even finished this chapter... = I haven't even unlocked this chapter, never mind finishing it. Forest / Hospital / Factory / Hell / Rapture / The End / Cotton Alley Light World: / / / / / / Dark World: / / / / / / Yeah, I'm not that good at this game. The reason that almost all of the Dark Worlds are is because, after finishing up Forest Dark World, I decided "OK, I'll do all of the Light World before doing the rest of the Dark World." I did do one level of Hospital Dark World, but I never got A+. I'll wait til I've at least finished the Rapture (not all bandages) and got The Kid before trying anything else. But I'll probably wait til I've done The End too. EDIT:Updated it cause I finished Rapture.

I no longer visit these forums due to lack of interest in the community and to an extent, the game itself.

Squirrel Boy seemed quite hard at first, it's the last half of the chapter where I was getting stupid mistakes most of the time.

KEY: = I got it! = I got it, but it gave me some trouble. = This is one I'm working on. Right Now. = Maybe some day... = ... When I'm ready for it. Forest / Hospital / Factory / Hell / Rapture / The End / Cotton AlleyLight World: / / / / / / Dark World: / / / / / /
Well, I got another one. I am now the owner of a shiny silver Salt Boy achievement. I got it using Ogmo for the bulk of my levels, Captain Viridian whenever I could break a level with him, Meat Boy when speed was the key, and Flywrench in very certain circumstances (Like Shotzie!) Here's my order: 18-20, 17, 1-16. I was going to do this achievement yesterday, but it seems that every run last night ended with a stupid death of some sort. I eventually decided to go to sleep, and wait until I was a little more alert to not die. Let me explain: Transmissions: This one was especially painful. A couple of runs had me place this first. But, as a whole, the last four levels are a lot more annoying. Shotzie!: I didn't expect the Missile Launcher to fire on me at the way down... Box Tripper: Oops. Stepped on an inconvieniently placed patch of salt. Rustic: You can do this one with Viridian, but I wouldn't count on getting it in one try. In other unrelated news, I got Captian Viridian yesterday night, and did some Salt Boy levels with him. Now, onto Squirrel Boy!

To be honest I have surprised myself so far with the no death runs. After unlocking Golden God and Seneca Falls I assumed my time with this game would largely be coming to an end until SMW comes out, turns out, I'm more addicted then ever, and the Iron Boy runs are to blame!
At first I was like hey, I'll get Wood Boy and probably Squirrel Boy, I dunno about the others. After getting Squirrel Boy I tried Needle Boy and realized Chapter 2 was much easier than I remembered, amazing how easy some levels start to feel after you've been through Cotton Alley Dark. This inspired me to do Salt Boy, which was also quite easy. After that I realized Dead Boy would probably be easy due to only needing the 5 levels, and with growing confidence, also took care of Brimstone Boy, and most recently, Blood Clot Boy.
I was inches away from Dr. Fetus Boy earlier, if it wasn't for No Quarter being such a pain I imagine I would have it by now. What was funny was, although I do No Quarter as the first level (for obvious reasons for anyone who's played it), on the run that I nearly completed, I flukily completed 6-5 in one go after already beating 6-4 on a test run, and quickly beat 6-1 only to stupidly mess up the very last part of 6-2. I'd have only needed 6-3 at that point but oh well, if that doesn't give me confidence to complete it I don't know what will.
After I take care of Dr. Fetus boy, I am wondering what I will try next. I believe I can do Maggot Boy, though it will be another level of challenge, and I am not ruling out Missile Boy (dreading doing Hellavator again though haha), or Demon Boy. I am not totally sure if Zombie Boy, Girl Boy, or Impossible Boy are in my future, but I guess time will tell.

(dreading doing Hellavator again though haha) Use Flywrench for that level and once you figure out a strategy with him, it'll be easy (currently attempting Missile Boy myself).

I'm kinda disappointed in myself. I've only been half-heartedly working towards all-meatboy demon boy, and I think I'm losing the drive. There are just SO many annoying levels in dark hell. I think I might cave and use Veridian. Someone talk me out of it.
