Nah, it's not too terrifying, there are just so goddamn much occasions to die.. :P But anyway, you'll be able to make it, if you made Girl Boy, the Impossible Boy is no problem

I will freely admit that I'm no SMB god or anything. I got Needle Boy on pure luck. Squirrel Boy shouldn't be too problematic, but the other ones... yeesh.

Why are you trying Maggot Boy right now? You haven't even got Squirrel Boy yet. You said so yourself.

After I make some more -devmode levels, I'll try Brimstone Boy again. I will say this, however: If you can do the last 5 or 6 levels without dying, then you can probably do the rest.

BTW, Brimstone Boy now has a 0.3% Completion Percentile.

I think I have a good path marked out for Impossible Boy. 

Ridiculous/almost luck based: 7,8,9,16
Difficult: 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 19
I'm only moderately good at level 1: 1

All the rest: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13

We'll see how it goes.  I hate Curls.  It's just like Hopscotch.  But for some reason I go on streaks where curls seems to be easy enough to pass all the time... then on other occasions I'll die 20 times straight.  Blargh.

The most surprising one to me thus far is XOXO.  It's actually really easy.  I've done it 7-6X times in a row before.  I also have a decent grip on the timing for 7-8X, which is nice.

Doing the levels in that order, I believe my record is getting to 7-17X.  If I can get to 7-2X, it'll feel like I'm home free.  :-D

And btw, you probably didn't watch my cotton alley vids? :P There are few easy ways for 14x or 15x for example. I planned to make whole cotton alley guide, but I wasn't able to do this, my laziness was stronger then my will to help others :P

And so - you can finish 7-3x by jumping only at the right wall pretty easily.

Oh, if you complete ~18 hardest levels, your heart is beating wildly  Thereforce, you can SUDDENLY jump in bad time or trivially have a spill. That's why I hate 'em all.

Also, all Light-World Iron Boys (except Girl Boy, of course) get. Maggot Boy was easy than Brimstone Boy, it's really weird.

I've seen your videos.  I really want to upload some of mine.  I do a few of the levels differently from you, so it'd be cool to show everyone the stylistic differences. 

But ya.  Maybe tomorrow I'll see about practicing Curls for a bit.  Until I get that good at it, I'll just leave it in the front of my run order.  You definitely took the difficult route for 7-7x (the fans) though.  You can tap right and just jump straight up to jet to the top without having to move.  It's pretty awesome.

I just don't like fans in no deaths runs :P So that's why I've made it second level in my final run. But yea, probably your trick is better, it's too late for me to check it out :P

This guy (Zip_00, I believe) found it first.  Then another guy and I started competing for the fastest time on the level.  I currently don't have it, but that's because of my focus on Impossible Boy.  Getting that score back will be on the top of my list after I get the achievement :-D.  

I might get some of my more unique replays up sometime this weekend too.  Woohoo~

Ye it's definetely faster, but I'm not that much into speedrunning buisness, so screw that :P But I'd like to see someone making 3.xx time :P

I'm the "some other guy" Tuen's referring to.  I've got a compilation video in the works right now, and when it's done (it's in its infant stages, so it'll be a while) a sub 4 7-7x will definitely be included.

Also, agreed on 7-16x being easier than 7-16.  I find it harder to speedrun, but easier to beat.  Just do the walljump at the start, keep a decent bob going, go over or under the first blade in the second set depending what you end up set up for, and launch to the end.  If I'm not looking to shave hundreths I have a good 80-90% success rate with the level.

As for my own Iron Boys, I've been sidetracked by improving level times across the game with Meat Boy (just hit sub 3000 overall!) with a long term goal of cranking out a real ending single segment run of the game.  I have taken a few idle shots at Blood Clot and Dr. Fetus, but after training myself to go for the high risk strats it's hard to slow it down and play them safe.  I'll probably focus on these again eventually.
