Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. For example.. I had lots of trouble with Girl Boy. However after I finished it.. I beat Missile and Demon in two days consecutively! Find out which one of the Big 5 you're good at and get that one first! The boost of confidence will help you out a lot!

On A Side Note .. anyone having troubles with 4-17X Invocation? Use Josef! I know it sounds crazy, but his jump is a high one and you can run off the edge and then jump forward into the portal for an easy win (: ...

I did it with the kid, but I always died the first time because the lava ball spawns faster...

Not exactly a "no-death achievement" but I just got the Golden Gift achievement!!! Been practicing for it a while now and only took me about an hour or so to beat all the levels. Did Lump of Coal first, then Underwear, Socks, Fruit Cake, and Sweater. Lump of Coal was the most fucking infuriating for me.  Anyway, since I'm back in the mood for achievements, maybe I'll try for Dr. Fetus Boy, Missile Boy and Demon Boy next. Maybe I'll also try to get all the bandages in the Kid's Xmas chapter!  |

Honestly, I have no idea if Flywrench can beat 5-20x :P But I'm not gonna try it, it's too impossible for me. I'll get this achievement 'the oldfashion' way, using all characters. I've run the whole chapter few mins ago and I must say that it's not THAT hard overall. Few tough moments, but I think, that I'll be able to handle them :P Gl Jintek btw, Missle Boy is real bitch, for me at least it was :P (on the other hand, I used only Runman, so maybe that's why :x :P)

Missile Boy is easy if you use the right characters.
Don't let bullexcrements scare you.
btw. 5-20x with flywrench is possible.
Ironically, I've beaten my old record (with meat boy) in this level with flywrench a few minutes ago xD
I also got all the bandages in the Kids Xmas, so I will try to get the other achievements soon.

 Took me about 25-30 minutes of basically falling off 6-2x and 6-3x, once I beat those it was smooth sailing more or less. Only died about 5 or 6 times after that. So yeah, the easy one is down I guess Missile Boy is next. Also cleaned up and optimized A LOT of my times to match my most recent XBLA times, most of them I matched more or less. I still can't quite recreate my 10.89 time on 360 for Pepto though, I can only seem to get 11~ secs. I did 6-2x, 6-3x, 6-5x, 6-4x, and then 6-1x. In that order. If I passed the first two the only roadblock kept being Maze of Ith, but the first time I got past it I easily beat 6-1x and the achievement popped. But this pisses me off:  So I'm little by little working my way up to my time of 5.47 on 360, I'm at 5.88, then 5.73, then 5.60...and then on my last run Meat Boy clips through the fucking level on the home stretch giving me some bullshit impossible time!!! Wish there was a way to erase this. I guess it was a sudden lag spike, but yeah very lame.  |

Why wouldn't he be able to? The first part is almost made easier becaus he can 'fly' over the sawblades (you just have to time it right so that you aren't too slow). The next part is easy, the missile part is no challenge and then the last sawblade isn't hard either because of the reason I mentioned earlier. |

No the saw part at the beginning is the hardest.
You can't just double jump because flywrench falls for a short amount of time after hitting the ceiling.
I tried this level very often and I'm very happy that I managed to do this level in 15.96 with Flywrench.
But it's really difficult....
If you don't believe me how hard this is, try it yourself.

I did try it myself, the only hard part was the one with the missiles because I never concentrated on them. After I tried to completely spam the "jump button", it worked and from there on the sawblades didn't bug me anymore. |

  Alright, for Missile Boy I used this video as a template verbatim: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBSAG_UDmCs I used all the characters he used, completed the same level order too. That said, this was incredibly difficult for me. I spent about an hour and a half getting my ass handed to me, but finally I was able to get all 20 done without dying. Next was Demon Boy, I felt like I was on a roll after Missile so I jumped straight into it. A lot of people say use Viridian, Ogmo, Kid, etc...but for me that just got me killed more often due to me preset routes I follow on these levels with Meat Boy. So I ended up using Meat Boy, Viridian and the Kid 14x-20x, 1x, 5x-13x and 2x-4x. It was kind of a blur but it seemed a bit easier than Missile, I probably only died about 50 times trying for it! :P But anyway, I guess Girl Boy is next. Any advice on if I should try Zombie before Impossible? Overall, for me my biggest problem was getting away from my speedrun mentality for these, and think about completing them differently. Oh, and a couple Xanax was my special ingredient!  |

Ok, so here's the nice story from me (pretty ridiculous, I'm stunned because of what happened :D)
My last achievement to get was Zombie Boy. I planned to record the whole thing and put it on youtube, etc. So my level's order was supposed to be 8-20, 1-7. Before actually trying to get the achievement, I've performed two or three 'warmup' runs from 1 to 20, just to get back some muscle memory shit. I died few times (stupidly, but it was just the warmup), the last death was at 5-19x. So I finished 5-20x, then started 2nd 'loop' - went to 5-1x and cleared all levels up to 5-7x. So I decided, fuck this, let's record - I'm gonna die somwhere anyway, so the 'deaths counter' will reset and everything will be dandy. But guess what. Yep, I've managed to get the rest levels without dying :DD
Now imagine my rage when I opened my recorded file and found there very nice run from 5-8x to 5-19x with achievement popup... :D
And there's no way that I'll be putting myself through this shit again :P I liked running through Cotton Alley without dying twice, but I don't like Dark Rapture, so yea, I have all achievements, yay :/ :P
