Spent two hours straight practicing for Girl Boy this morning, so I'll officially be going for the achievement tonight.

I will get Girl Boy sometimes in the next 2 weeks, should be possible for me

And I'm trying to record that Zombie Boy shit. And it's really REALLY hard to not fuck up anything, when you don't have that 'achievement berserk' mode on :x

As promised!  Whole process took me about 2 hours.


I decided early on that I was going to do 4 Letter Word, Hopscotch, and Tunnel Blower first, since for me their kill boxes.  Then it was Stag, Peel, Pepto and Lock Out.  And then everything else in order.  I ended up getting slaughtered on Hop Scotch and Tunnel Blower, but I finally got past them and basically speedran 7-4, 7-12,13,15...then died again on 7-17 due to a stupid mistake.  

So I repeated the process a few more times, after dying even more, and finally came to finish 7-19, where I thought the achievement would pop...it didn't.  Turns out I forgot to remember to do 4 Letter Word first, so guess what level I got to do last!  Obviously I went very slowly, I even fucking walked the entire 7 floors of tiny saws, slowly jumping over each of them.  And then, the achievement popped up, job well done!

But yeah, I've got to do A LOT of practice to do before attempting Impossible or Zombie.

Kay well I LOVE Dark Rapture! I'll say that much upfront.. I don't really like Dark Cotton alley though.. I know Dark Rapture is harder but I think I'll get Zombie boy first seeing as I love the chapter so It'll be easier FOR ME! I'd recommend getting impossible boy first unless you love Dark Rapture! I'm close to getting Zombie boy I think! A Great help for those attempting Zombie boy!

Type in "outatime" in the character select and choose meat boy to play as Tim! Tim can rewind time. While doing so he's invincible so, rewind time and make those damn zombies explode! Then unpause and continue!

I will not be using Tim to get Zombie boy because I want it to be just as hard as it was for the 50-100 people who have gotten it!

^^Good luck on that man, and thanks for the tip on Tim it'll come in handy.  I think I mostly need to get better with the gravity pulses because right now I'm terrible with them, Spank already gives me terrors thinking of Zombie Boy.  Other than that the levels seem doable with enough practice.

That's the most important thing in getting these achievements - if you like the chapter or not. I've got Impossible Boy twice, because I love Cotton alley, but getting Zombie Boy... oh man, what a pain in the ass :P Long, tedious, random levels in dark Rapture almost made me puke :P I got the achievement, but I can't push myself to make it second time (with video recording on)

Tim trick seems to be pretty cheap, but I can understand people using it

EDIT: and I'd argue if Dark Rapture is harder than Dark Cotton Alley. In Rapture you can turn at least half of levels into a joke using right characters (5-1x and 5-2x - Naija, 5-10x, 5-11x - Kid, etc)

Congratz on that!  I practiced a bit for Zombie earlier this morning so maybe I'll be able to knock this out soon, I've gotten a lot better on my problem levels so far.

Still in a Xanax haze, but yes after two hours of failure it is mine!  Practiced a lot on 360 before this which made it easier but this was hands down the hardest achievement yet.  My recommendation: use THE KID.  I tried to use Tim but I'm just not used to his handling and the rewind didn't save me from the zombies every time, and I don't use him well.  So I stuck to Meat Boy and the Kid only.  Using the Kid can eliminate some frustration on the gravity pulses too.  And 5-6x and 5-13x proved to be my biggest issues.

From memory my order was:

5-20x - Meat Boy
5-19x - Meat Boy
5-3x - Kid
5-4x - Kid
5-13x - Kid
5-6x - Kid
5-17x - Meat Boy
5-7x - Kid
5-8x - Meat Boy
5-9x - Meat Boy
5-10x - Kid
5-11x - Kid
5-12x - Kid
5-14x - Kid
5-15x - Meat Boy
5-16x - Kid
5-18x - Kid
5-5x - Kid
5-2x - Kid
5-1x - Kid

I believe that was the final order since I was changing them up a bit as I went.

I did this on my laptop, so if I tried running FRAPS the framerate would be horrible and I would probably give up if I had to deal with that.  I'll try running it in ultralowdetail to see if it's any better with FRAPS.

Yay, I only have the five hardest Iron Man Achievements remaining!! For me the tier list of difficulty goes like this.

Also when doing the Dark Hospital it did not give me the achievement the times I used Tim,so I am pretty sure that he is not allowed. I would love to be proven wrong though! Also, Does any one have any advice for what to do next?

^I would go for Dark Hell or Dark Factory next, that's what I did anyway.
