Does anyone have any tips for Maggot Boy, particularly the levels with the zombie Meat Boys? Abomination and its dark world counterpart (Swine) are my two of my least favorite levels in the whole game (maybe with the exception of the Kid level 2 and In Line). I hate the semi-random behavior of the zombies and I always die to them. At this rate I may just have to do Abomination first (before the Flood and Gate of Ludd, two levels that are really easy to die on).

That doesn't surprise me at all since I live in bizarro Meat Boy land, where the easy levels (like Memories and Buzzzcut in the Hospital) are hard and the hard levels (like XOXO) are easy.

Actually I found buzzcut fairly difficult.

Same!  My final bandage was in El Topo (3-19X) and it took me well over an hour to get.  Skyscraper took me half an hour tops.

That can be slightly annoying, but once you have triggered them, you can do large arcing jumps and they will try to jump towards you.

For Abomination, after getting close to them, either grab one of the tops of the building and start jumping as high as possible from the side of it or jump from one side to the other side.

If you feel more confident, you can actually jump over them as they don't jump as high as you.

For Swine, I'd recommend destroying at least 2-4 of them as this will make the stage much easier than it usually is.  Other than that, their triggers are quite random regarding distance; but once you see it move towards you hopefully you're going full speed in the other direction or you have jumped over it.

Gun to the head...I'd choose Girl Boy to be slightly easier than Zombie Boy...definitely if you mastered those little saws on the ground, and fans

I'm trying to get Girl Boy, and I only die in 3 levels

Does anybody have a good tip how to pass the Tunnel Blower, Hopscotch and 4 Letter Word in less than 3, maybe 4 kills...with a good tip I could master them myself, and therefore be able to even try unlocking the achievement...playing like this how I play is just dying countless times until I accidentally clear the levels.

In the 4 letter word I really suck at those little saws on the ground in the end of the level

I don't know if this will be any help, but for Hopscotch I prefer to do it the "less bouncy" way. I try to get Bandage Girl stabilized and just keep practicing the "to the left, then under" move for the top saws. After you do one, you can stabilize Bandage Girl by moving a bit to the right (where there's less repulsion) until she stops going up, then back to center. Even then, it's still a hard level, but I guess it all just comes down to practice. Also, you can do a running start under the first saw if you time it right.

Just got Maggot Boy and to be honest it wasn't as bad as I was thought it would be once I had a plan and practiced the levels that gave me trouble.

Route: 9-10, 15-20, 1-8, 11-14.

Grinding Mill - I used Captain Viridian and found a neat little bug with the zombie AI. So of course you reverse at the start and wait for the key to drop, then move across the key shaft to the right zombie spawn. Then, if you jump to the right, the zombies will never jump into you (they'll jump, but it'll be once you're falling down). Lead them into the saw, reverse and get the key, reverse again so you're on the ceiling of the platform Bandage Girl is on, then you can do a jump to the opposite wall and 2 walljumps to victory.

Rotgut can of course be broken with Naija. For The Witness, I used Viridian again. From the first alcove you can jump through the saws easily, then the rest is just reversing between saws.

These next 3 levels use The Kid's "run off the platform and double jump" trick. On Rise, once you get up to that ledge below the first repeller, jump, then do a delayed double jump. This will let you get to the left wall easily. On 10 Horns, you can do the same trick on the last part, and on King Carrion you can reach the right wall from the start.

I think that's it. Now onto the more ridiculous achievements.

Me and my brother both play this game together.
We have wood boy and needle boy and are thinking of going for dead boy next.
Needle Boy actually took something like an hour to get because of continual stupid deaths, such as:
-Memories: Oops, jumped too high
-The Sabbath: Surprisingly platform-intensive
-Ghostkey: No, don't do it the unreliable speedrun way!
-Destructroid: This one was really painful. One time he didn't slow down going off the top of the lock platform to the left and fell into an outside laser.

Started looking at Demon Boy the other day. Surprisingly easy. I should have it relatively soon after I have some time to start trying for it again.
I have a list on my desk of which character to use for what level - haven't gotten the achievement yet, but perhaps the list might help someone else?

[these are from personal feelings about the level - there may be better, but I can beat the levels quite easily as the following:]
Code: ("Hell Dark World Character/Level List")
1. Kid
2. Kid
3. MB
4. MB
5. Kid
6. Kid
7. MB
8. Viridian
9. Kid
10.MB
11. Kid
12. MB
13. Viridian
14. MB
15. MB
16. MB
17. MB
18. Viridian
19. Viridian
20. MB

I'm off to run now in Australia's lovely 40 degree heat :D
Probably only run 3.5km this time to shorten the trek in the heat X_X
