I forgot amnesia... How could I...
...or maybe it's my brain trying to delete all the memories of that game. I'll have to talk about it a psy somedays. This game was terrible.

Super Meat Boy is the game of the decade. It has just been born and it is great but with the level editor and the portal is going to be awesome. Can't wait for the custom levels that are going to be created by the community.

It's game of the year. However, I'm not going to overrate it like everyone else here, and just say that 2010 was a year of crap games altogether.

Definitely. I played other great games from last year as well, but none gave me the challenge or playtime that Super Meat Boy provided.

2010 game of the year for me was Super Meat Boy, runner up being Darksiders. Loved them both. This year will probably be Portal 2 though.

Minecraft was my 2010 game. I only began playing SMB this year though.

Minecraft was first playable in 2009, and wasn't finished in 2010. Just because it became insanely popular in 2010 doesn't make it a 2010 game.
I'm torn between Amnesia and SMB, but SMB has more replayability, so it's my GOTY.

This would have been my game of the year but I just have a Wii so I never got a shot at this game. Fuck Nintendo's irrational file size limitations. Game of the year for me was Pokemon Soulsilver and DK Returns.
DK Returns has a difficulty curve on par with Meat Boy in some respects, especially if you're going for the Gold medals in the time trials.

I have to agree, DK returns gave me a similar challenge and sometimes equaled Super Meat Boy in difficulty when it came to time trials.
