Just to get myself properly acquainted with -devmode (ie Level Editor without training wheels), I've decided to remix a stage from the main story.
I have not started yet. It's still in the conceptual stage where it's all on looseleaf paper, but I will give a hint to what I'm going to be doing:
It's from Chapter 4: Hell
I will be using the retro tileset
My avatar/hobby is relevant
Additional clues:
It has not been remixed before
My avatar is a symbol/logo, it represents something
The stage is from the main 20 stages, not a warpzone
Have fun figuring out what I'm doing while I figure out what I'm doing.

First big mistake, I forgot to save before exiting. On the bright side, I know that it was working properly before I goofed up.
If anyone guesses what it was I made based on those three clues, I could give you a prize or something, I dunno. Maybe I'll trust you with playtesting stages I've got planned when the editor and portal are released (since I know that eventually, someone will upload someone else's work that was made public. I'm just paranoid).

theres a fine line between paranoid and cautious but after a hards day works its better to be safe so you don't end up sorry.
my guess is 4 bit kong stage or maybe just a your pic with hazards on it

My personal take: I would pretty much trust anyone that I speak with regularly on these forums... I know that doesn't account for the people who might just stop by the forum and steal stuff from a link, but at least if you deal with us directly, I think you'll be fine. The other upside is that there are nearly infinite ideas that can be dreamed up with this game, so even if that happened (which I certainly hope it wouldn't) you're only so far from another level being dreamed up.  |

Hopefully Team Meat will have the ability to remove files from the portal if there's documentation (say through here) that the wrong person uploaded them.

I know that doesn't account for the people who might just stop by the forum and steal stuff from a link, but at least if you deal with us directly, I think you'll be fine. The other upside is that there are nearly infinite ideas that can be dreamed up with this game, so even if that happened (which I certainly hope it wouldn't) you're only so far from another level being dreamed up. Actually I uploaded all your stages on the Gamefaqs forums under my own name  But joking aside, I really do think that you just can't worry about stuff like that. Somebody may steal your level, but people are more likely to steal your design and implement it into their own stages. |

I had a level with around 10 portal connected rooms in it. Then I crashed. |
